Project ”We Value”

”We Value” was a project to appreciate and show our gratitude to the hardworking people in Kandy city including police officers, army soldiers and KMC workers. We gave them a heart-touching artwork done by grade 5 students of our school and a little treat to value their duty. it was greatly appreciated by all the Police Officers, Army soldiers and KMC workers as this is the first time this kind of project happened in Sri Lanka.

project ”El Gracias”

The biggest project we did for school was the project ”El Gracias”. We donated 4 mic stands to the school main hall under Rs. 46 000 budget. The primary objective of the project was to provide better facilities to the school community for their events and programs. The school will be able to enhance its audio quality and improve its overall experience during events.

Project ”Pegasus”

Project ”Pegasus” is an online Poetic Competition for students of Girls’ High School Kandy. We are proud to say we got 50+ submissions from grade 10 – grade 13 students. We gave valuable certificates to winners to appreciate their talent.

Project ”Give Life”

Project ”Give Life” is the first joint club project we did. It was a blood donation campaign conducted by Leo Club of Girls’ High School Kandy, Leo Club of Dharmaraja College Kandy, Interact Club of Dharmaraja College Kandy and Leo Club of Kiribathkumbura. We expected around 60 donors for which the staff of the blood bank of Peradeniya General Hospital came prepared and we can proudly say that we exceeded our limit of expected donors.

Project ”Nanapahansila”

Project ”Nanapahansila” is the biggest project organized by Leo District 306 C1. It is an internationally appreciated annual project. For year 2022/2023 District selected 3 schools which are:- Ambokka Primary School, Rattota Mahabodhi Vidyalaya and Mahalakotuwa Maha Vidyalaya. Those schools are located in rural areas of Matale District. And provided their book list with all the stationery and other requirements. concurrently an eye clinic, Diabetes clinic, Plant Distribution, Meal Distribution and Child Cancer Awareness were also held. We donated over 100+ books and stationery items to this project. And we are so happy to say our club members and school students gave us a huge support to succeed this donation.
